Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, under Government of India, has invited applications for an entrance test to be held on July 25 at Puducherry for admission to the following courses:

* B.Sc. allied medical sciences which includes dialysis technology (4 seats), medical radiation technology (4 seats), operation theatre technology (4 seats), perfusion technology (4 seats)

* M.Sc. medical biochemistry (9 seats), M.Sc. MLT-microbiology (4 seats)

* M.Ch. cardio thoracic and vascular surgery (3 seats), urology (3 seats), neuro surgery (1 seat).

* D.M. cardiology (3 seats), neurology (2 seats), neonatology (1 seat), clinical immunology (1 seat), clinical pharmacology (1 seat).

* Post-doctoral fellowships: diabetology (3 seats), medical oncology (2 seats), paediatric critical and emergency care (2 seat).

* Ph.D. in anatomy (2 seats), physiology (2 seats), biochemistry (2 seats), microbiology (2 seats), pharmacology (2 seats), paediatrics (2 seats), clinical immunology (2 seats).

Cost of the application fee:

* B.Sc. nursing: Rs.150
* B.Sc. MLT / allied medical sciences: Rs.150
* M.Sc. medical biochemistry/ MLT: Rs.200
* Ph.D.: Rs.500
* DM/ M.Ch. / post-doctoral fellowship: Rs.1000

Prospectus and application form are available on direct cash payment (till June 29) from SBI, JIPMER Campus, Puducherry or through postal request (till June 24) addressed to the Professor (Academic), JIPMER Puducherry – 605006. The requisition letter should be sent along with two self-addressed slips and a demand draft for the appropriate amounts drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, JIPMER payable at Puducherry. Candidates can pay for and apply in separate prescribed forms for two courses.
