BANGALORE: The Post Graduate Entrance Test, used as a yardstick for admissions to private medical and dental colleges in Karnataka, will be held on Sunday. The test is slated to be held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K), the test will be held in 24 test centres in Bangalore. About 12,000 candidates will be vying for just 365 medical seats offered under this consortium. For the 290 dental seats, some 5,100 students have applied. Authorities have instructed students to bring only black or blue ball point pens for the exam. Further, they must carry their hall tickets and proof for ID and date of birth. — Staff Reporter
